Gran Canaria is genuinely a continent in miniature — subtropical coast, sand dunes, pine forest and volcanic summit all within one island. The south coast has the sun-guaranteed beach resorts; the north has the vibrant capital; the interior has the most dramatic mountain scenery in the Canaries. Where you stay defines your entire experience.

Anfi del Mar is an artificial beach resort in the municipality of Mogán in southwestern Gran Canaria, on the GC-500 coastal road between Arguineguín and Puerto Rico. The beach was constructed with pale golden-white sand imported from the Sahara, giving it an unusually light appearance compared to the darker volcanic shores found elsewhere on the island. The bay is enclosed by constructed breakwaters that regulate wave action and maintain calm, shallow water conditions. The setting combines a natural rocky headland with a constructed crescent beach and marina.
Sioux City Park is a Wild West-themed recreation park covering 320,000 square metres in San Agustín, in the Maspalomas area of southern Gran Canaria. The site recreates a North American frontier town with period structures including a saloon, church, ranch buildings, and a bank. Live performances featuring horse shows and staged frontier scenes are presented across the grounds. The park occupies a natural barranco — a volcanic ravine — which forms the landscape backdrop for the settlement recreation. It sits within the resort zone of San Bartolomé de Tirajana municipality.
El Maipés de Agaete is a pre-Hispanic archaeological site and necropolis in the municipality of Agaete in northwestern Gran Canaria. The site contains hundreds of burial tumuli — stone-covered mounds — constructed by the Guanche people, the indigenous Canary Islanders who inhabited the island before Spanish colonisation in the 15th century. The necropolis is one of the largest of its type on Gran Canaria and is protected as an archaeological park. It occupies a volcanic hillside of black basalt above the Agaete valley, with views toward the coast.
Gran Karting Club is a motorsport facility in Bahía Feliz on the southern coast of Gran Canaria, in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana near the Maspalomas resort zone. The circuit complex offers three separate track configurations — a junior circuit, a standard adult circuit, and a combined GKC layout — allowing sessions across a range of performance levels. The facility is set close to the coast in the consistently mild climate of Gran Canaria's southern shore, where sunshine and dry conditions allow year-round operation.
