Koh Chang
White Sand Beach · Klong Plu Waterfall · Bang Bao Pier · HTMS Chang Wreck · Ko Wai Snorkeling
Koh Chang is Thailand's second-largest island, stretching 30 km along the Gulf of Thailand in Trat Province. The west coast road connects a succession of beaches from the busy resort strip at White Sand Beach in the north to the laid-back backpacker favourite of Lonely Beach and the stilted fishing pier of Bang Bao in the south. Most of the island's interior is protected national park rainforest. Arrivals come by car ferry from Laem Ngop (30–45 min) after flying into Trat Airport (TDX) — there is no bridge to the island.

Trat Airport (TDX) is a small domestic airport in Trat Province, eastern Thailand, serving as the main air gateway to Koh Chang. It is located in the Bang Pit and Tha Som subdistricts of Laem Ngop District, approximately 70 km from the island's main ferry terminal. Bangkok Airways owns and operates the airport, which opened in April 2003. The facility has a single tarmac runway measuring 1,800 m by 45 m, with pavilion-style passenger terminals and a restaurant.
