Menorca is the most unspoilt of the Balearic Islands — a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve where mass development is restricted and the island's natural character survives. The north coast is wilder and rockier, with clear water; the south has the famous turquoise coves that rank among the finest in the Mediterranean. Mahón and Ciutadella are both historic, beautiful and very different from each other.
