Car rental in Bahamy

The Bahamas has no public bus network between islands -- inter-island travel is by small plane or water taxi. On New Providence (Nassau), public jitneys run fixed routes but do not reach western beaches like Love Beach or the southern coastline. A rental car gives full access to the island -- Cable Beach, the Blue Lagoon dock, Clifton Heritage Park, and the western tip via the West Bay Street bypass. For day trips to Paradise Island, a toll bridge connects both sides. Grand Bahama (Freeport) has its own car rental network at FPO airport.
