- Warm dry summer (June-August): 10-25 mm rain per month, highs of 27-29 °C, sea breeze constant.
- Wet autumn (October-December): 130-190 mm rain per month — Capri receives more autumn rain than any of the Balearic islands.
- Sirocco events: hot humid southerly wind from the Sahara, mostly in spring and autumn, that can push temperatures 5-8 °C above seasonal average for 2-3 days at a time.
- Marine moderation: surrounded entirely by deep sea, Capri has no big temperature swings — winter rarely below 8 °C, summer rarely above 32 °C.
- Mild long swimming season: thanks to the warm Tyrrhenian Sea, swimming is comfortable from June into early November.
- Fog around the cliffs: occasional summer-morning fog around the Faraglioni rocks dissipates by mid-morning.
