The most beautiful beach on Curacao -- a turquoise bay framed by dramatic cliffs with soft white sand. Divided into Grote Knip (large, with facilities) and Kleine Knip (small, quieter). Both offer excellent snorkeling along the coral reefs on the edges of the bay.

Small sheltered cove with excellent snorkeling directly off the beach, accessible via a narrow road through Lagun village. Famous for seahorses, sea turtles and diverse reef fish. One of the best shore-entry snorkel spots on Curacao with calm protected water.

Extraordinary underwater sea cave on Curacao's west coast where the opening below the surface lets in shimmering blue light, creating a magical effect. One of the most photographed snorkel and dive spots in the Caribbean. Accessible by boat or by swimming from nearby rocks.

One of the most accessible wreck dives and snorkel sites in the world -- a small tugboat resting in just 5 meters of water, completely encrusted with coral and surrounded by fish. Perfect for beginner divers and snorkelers. Located in calm Caracas Bay.

Christoffel National Park
Nature
Largest nature reserve on Curacao (4,450 hectares) centered on Christoffelberg, the island's highest point at 375 m. Home to Curacao white-tailed deer, iguanas and hundreds of bird species. The sunrise hike to the summit takes 2-3 hours.

Hato Caves
Nature
Limestone cave system near the airport with stalactites, stalagmites and a freshwater pool. The cave was used by indigenous Arawak peoples and later by escaped enslaved Africans. Guided tours include rock art and bat colony observations.

Shete Boka National Park

Wild rocky coastline on the north shore with dramatic wave-filled bays (bokas) and sea turtle nesting beaches. Boka Tabla has a sea cave where Atlantic waves crash with enormous force. Leatherback and hawksbill turtles nest here between March and September.

10Country House Museum (Landhuis Brievengat)

Well-preserved example of a 17th-century Dutch plantation house (landhuis) showing the agricultural and social history of Curacao. The island has over 80 landhuizen, many now converted to hotels and restaurants. Brievengat is one of the most accessible for visitors.

3Fort Amsterdam

17th-century Dutch colonial fort at the entrance of Sint Anna Bay, now housing government offices and a small museum. The distinctive yellow fort with its original church is the oldest building in Willemstad, built in 1635.

4Kura Hulanda Museum

Award-winning museum in the Otrobanda district documenting the transatlantic slave trade and African diaspora history. Located in a restored 18th-century slave trading compound. One of the most important slavery museums in the Caribbean.

1Mikvé Israel-Emanuel Synagogue

The oldest continuously used synagogue in the Western Hemisphere, established in 1732. The distinctive sand-covered floor and white interior represent the oldest Sephardic Jewish community in the Americas. Located in the Punda district of Willemstad.

UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997 -- the most photogenic waterfront in the Caribbean. Pastel-painted 17th-century Dutch colonial buildings line the Sint Anna Bay. Handelskade is the most photographed street in Curacao and the symbol of the island.

Curacao Liqueur Distillery (Chobolobo)

Historic mansion housing the original Curacao liqueur distillery, maker of the famous Blue Curacao made from dried laraha orange peel. Guided tours explain the production process and the unique laraha orange -- a fruit that grows only on Curacao. Tasting of multiple liqueur varieties included.

Iconic Willemstad market where Venezuelan fishing boats tie up alongside the canal and sell fresh fruit, vegetables and fish directly from the boats. A tradition maintained since the early 20th century. Operates every morning in the Punda waterfront area.
