Car rental in Gotland

A rental car is the most convenient way to explore Gotland beyond Visby. Gotland has limited public transport, so beaches like Tofta Strand, the raukar limestone stacks at Kyllaj, the cave at Lummelunda and the ruins of Roma Abbey are easiest to reach by car. Most visitors fly into Visby Airport (VBY) from Stockholm in 45 minutes. Pick up your car at the airport; advance booking is essential in summer and during Medieval Week in August.
