IMPORTANT: Bermuda prohibits tourist car rental by law. The standard way to explore the island is by scooter or moped (from around $55/day at rental shops near Hamilton ferry terminal), taxi, or public bus. The island is only 34 km long with a maximum speed limit of 35 km/h. Bermuda drives on the LEFT. Ferries connect Hamilton to Dockyard (west) and are an excellent, scenic option. Day passes for unlimited bus and ferry travel are available. A scooter reaches every beach and attraction easily -- use DiscoverCars to compare any car options at BDA for visiting business travellers, but tourist visitors will need a scooter or taxi.
