Car rental in Cebu

Cebu has no rail network. Public jeepneys and V-hire (minivans) cover Cebu City but do not reach the main tourist destinations efficiently. A rental car is essential to reach Oslob (whale sharks, 3 hours south), Moalboal (sardine run, 2 hours southwest), Badian (Kawasan Falls canyoneering), and Osmena Peak. The national road circles the island -- total length about 260 km. All major agencies operate at CEB Airport on Mactan Island; Cebu drives on the RIGHT.
