One of the best house reefs in South Male Atoll, surrounding a small dive resort island. The reef wall drops steeply and is home to turtles, Napoleon wrasse, lionfish and regular hammerhead shark sightings at certain times of year.
Widely considered the Maldives' finest dive site, located in Ari Atoll. The submerged pinnacle is home to whitetip reef sharks, eagle rays and an extraordinary density of marine life. Night dives here are legendary.
The reef ecosystems surrounding North Male Atoll are among the Maldives' most accessible. Coral gardens, reef sharks, rays and sea turtles are regularly seen directly from resort jetties. Many budget and mid-range guesthouses offer free snorkel gear.

World's largest seaplane operation, connecting Male airport to remote resort islands across the atolls. Seaplane transfers offer a spectacular bird's-eye view of the atoll ring structures. Most transfers to distant atolls require 20-45 minute seaplane flights.
