Car rental in Flores

Flores stretches nearly 400 km east to west and a rental car is essential for the classic Trans-Flores road trip: Labuan Bajo - Ruteng - Bajawa - Ende - Moni and Kelimutu. Fly into Labuan Bajo (LBJ) for the Komodo region, or into Ende (ENE) if focusing on Kelimutu volcano. Roads range from good sealed highway to winding mountain roads. Petrol stations exist in main towns. A 4WD is useful for the Wae Rebo access road and some highland villages.
