Mirador de Morro Velosa

Nature

Mirador de Morro Velosa stands at 669 metres atop Montana Tegu in the Betancuria municipality of central Fuerteventura, within the Betancuria Rural Park. The viewpoint was designed by Canarian artist and architect Cesar Manrique, whose work across the Canary Islands integrates built structures with the volcanic landscape. Panoramic views extend toward Antigua and across both the Atlantic-facing and eastern coasts. The Betancuria Rural Park surrounding the viewpoint encompasses the oldest and most eroded volcanic terrain on Fuerteventura.
