Car rental in Komodo

A rental car is essential for exploring Flores island from Labuan Bajo. The national park islands (Komodo, Rinca, Padar) are only accessible by boat -- no roads connect them -- but Flores itself has excellent overland attractions. Cunca Wulang Canyon, Ruteng rice terraces, Melo village and the Kelimutu coloured crater lakes (240 km east) all require a car or scooter. Most Labuan Bajo agencies offer both cars and scooters for day trips around Flores.
