Bodegas José L. Ferrer is one of Mallorca's longest-established wineries, operating for nearly a century from Binissalem in the heart of the island's wine country. The estate produces under the DO Binissalem appellation, working with indigenous Mallorcan varieties including Moll and Giró Ros for whites and Manto Negro and Callet for reds. Binissalem sits on a gently elevated plateau in central Mallorca, sheltered from coastal winds, with clay-limestone soils that give the native grapes their characteristic mineral and earthy qualities.
