Sliema Ferry – trajekt Valletta–Sliema

The Sliema Ferry is a catamaran service crossing the harbour mouth between The Strand in Sliema and the Valletta waterfront, taking approximately 5 minutes to cross a distance that would otherwise require a lengthy road journey around the harbour. During peak periods the service runs at 15-minute intervals. The crossing passes directly in front of Valletta's historic fortifications, giving passengers views of the Grand Harbour entrance and the bastions built by the Knights of St John. The ferry connects two of Malta's most visited areas and provides an efficient alternative to road traffic for those moving between the two shores.
