Żebbuġ — Gozitan Village

Zebbug is a village in the northwest of Gozo, situated on two hilltop plateaus overlooking the sea. Built close to the villages of Gharb and Ghasri, Zebbug has a population of around 2,900. The Marsalforn coastal resort lies within the Zebbug local council. The village is dominated by its 17th-century parish church, dedicated to the Assumption of Our Lady, whose Baroque facade and campanile are visible from a wide area of northwest Gozo. The fishing port of Marsalforn lies at the base of the hill.
