Hike: Dingli Cliffs – Ghar Lapsi

The Dingli Cliffs to Ghar Lapsi hike covers 14.9 kilometres along the western escarpment of Malta, with a total ascent of 130 metres and descent of 120 metres. Dingli Cliffs, at approximately 250 metres, are the highest point on the Maltese mainland and overlook the small uninhabited island of Filfla in the open Mediterranean. The trail follows the cliff edge for much of its length before descending toward the natural sea inlet of Ghar Lapsi, where a short scramble section navigates the rocky coastal terrain. The route traverses one of the least developed stretches of Malta's coastline, away from the main urban and resort areas.
