Malta Aviation Museum
Activity
The Malta Aviation Museum occupies three hangars on the site of the former Royal Air Force airfield RAF Ta Kali in Ta'Qali, one of Malta's principal fighter bases during the Second World War. The museum covers the full history of aviation in Malta, with particular focus on the aerial battles of 1940 to 1942 when Malta endured one of the most sustained bombing campaigns in the history of air warfare. The collection includes restored Spitfires, Hurricanes and other aircraft, some maintained in flying condition.
